The Laughtrip
Station 6. The new area I was assigned but then knew, it'll only be for a short period of time. The place that I hardly ever adjusted.. The place that I thought I can hardly smile.
Yet today, no, tonight..This very night, I did not only smile. I laughed :))
It was fun. It's been a long time I laughed that hard and I can remember it being with my High School friends. At some point, I felt comfortable but still, I hate to admit, Still had the feeling I don't fully belong. Which I do not wish to.
Attachment can be an overbearing feeling. It's a momentary surge of paramour happiness, contentment and acceptance yet it causes mind boggling, bitter sweet adieu's and painful nostalgia.
So I'll laugh today and enjoying their companion, for now. Hoping that I won't have to hurt myself again when I am to be rotated.. or when training starts.
Gra, Be Strong!
Apollo 17 - Gene Cernan deploying the Traverse Gravitmeter Experiment (TGE) on a steep slope at Station 6 during the third an last EVA.
At each geology station, Gene took the TGE off the back of the Rover, put it down on the surface well out of the way, got it to sit securely upright, and pushed a button to start a measurement. He could then do other work and, at a convenient time, pushed another button to display the result.
