My favorite right now is Native American Cecil, I saw this great picture of him with lavender hair! I really love the whole idea of the Voice of Nightvale having the third eye- not a tattoo, an actual eye- that has him seeing what's going on everywhere in town.

Yeah!! The Cecil evolution was fascinating, tbh. I saw one very common headcanon (white hair, tall, Caucasian), that wasn't bad, but it was widely accepted. But it grew, into literally a million different diverse varying headcanons! And the characters have flaws and problems, which is great.

Yeah, it's also one of the few fandoms I've never seen problems in! It's just a nice sort of tight knit community, everyone is so nice.

That's so weird, I just started catching up on Night Vale too! They do an amazing job with gender neutral stuff, and representation of ethnicities, etc. I especially love how the characters can be so openly headcanoned because of the audio format/vague descriptions.

yeah, theyre super inclusive and its nice. the main character is gay, his boyfriend is a poc, his kickass neice is in a wheelchair, one of the biggest revoultionary figures is a young poc girl, gender neutral characters, plus??? its just. such an open "come as you are” kind of feeling in the fandom too. its nice.
