Outside of an absolute perfect world and scribbles of all your little guys: my only humble request is to see more of Brother Mo in the future! :D
there will definitely be more Brother Mo art in the future, whenever the inspiration for a drawing of him hits me. I mentioned this in the tags of another post but my current idea is that he's just a regular woolybear caterpillar that the other brothers adopted and made a tiny cassock for, like Friar Mustache.

i'm a total poser and know basically nothing about the different mendicant orders other than the franciscans always seemed like the chillest which is why my own guys are largely modeled after them. i will admit though that the dominican robes are pretty sweet.

@yoidki i have to admit i'm only familiar with that name from one or two other people comparing my art to his. from a cursory search though i definitely get the comparison and dig his style. i should check more of his stuff out.
@punchesco okay i know you sent this to my bug blog but i'm being lazy here. anyway i love robber flies but i'm not good at retaining random interesting facts about animals. i did spend a week or so last month sorting a couple drawers of random robberflies to genus and species which was equal parts fun and frustrating because there haven't been a lot of good modern taxonomic treatments of most of the taxa and the ones that do exist are largely outdated so i had to do a lot of checking to see which species were still valid. anyway here's an abandoned sketch from 3 or 4 years ago of my robber fly guy Stav.
Uncle Aaron would definitely like Gwen. He would be kind to her (I don't mean in a creepy way, but he would be like "so you're that girl my nephew is so crazy about" and Miles would be all embarrassed), he would like to see his nephew in love and he would tease him about it, he would tell Gwen stories about Miles when he was younger, he would support their relationship 100%, maybe he would even tell Miles to bring Gwen with him when he visits. He would just be genuinely happy for them (in his own chill way) and proud whenever he sees them together because, from his point of view, the shoulder touch worked.
