Despite really needing the time to prepare with my trip coming up today I stayed late at work to cover for a coworker. They ended up being over 3 hours late which pushed back my day, but luckily in the end everything worked out. Although hesitant when I was first asked I am glad I stayed, it helped me get ahead in my work and helped out my other coworker who would have been a bit swamped if she had been left on her own. Making today’s random act of kindness: lending a helping hand.

Today, one of my co-workers had to leave work early as they weren’t feeling well, as a result we all had to do a bit of shuffling with our hours. Unfortunately, I this evening I also had my friend’s bridal shower so I wasn’t able to stay to far past my originally scheduled time. However, when they asked me I said that I would stay an extra hour to help them out and get them closer to the end of the day. This seemed to still prove a great benefit, by the time it was time for me to leave we were completely caught up and on the days work and only had two more appointments left in the day, it’s amazing what can be done in such a short time. Today’s random act of kindness: lending a helping hand.
