Headcanon A (realistic): While Clementine does miss her foot. She’s at peace knowing she and Aj is safe at the Ericcson’s. The both of them finally have a stable home and are surrounded by people they love so she doesn’t need to stress and worry. She’s also placed in a position to be more trusting because she needs some assistance at first.

Headcanon B (while it may not be realistic it is hilarious): She encourages the others at Ericsson’s to try a salt lick so she can see everyone’s reaction.

Headcanon C (heart crushing and awful but fun to inflict on friends): Okay, so this is more so angsty. I like to think someone showed Clem an old history book and she rips a page out to bury it to honor Lee.

Headcanon D (unrealistic, but I disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own): oh idk she lives the ericcsons and aj behind to goes to find something else—-kidding, I like to think when Clem’s ready she and a couple others goes back to Richmond so Aj can meet Javi for a first time.

Headcanon A: realistic

Link is a short, queer king.

I am HERE for short Link! Zelda’s a few inches taller than him and it drives him insane but he also loves it, because they get to be all cute and she teases him. 🥰

I don’t have a super solid headcanon about Link’s gender or sexuality, but I love thinking about it. I also tend to use he/him pronouns for Link, but there is a lot of evidence for a nonbinary or trans Link and I love it SO much. Link was designed to appear androgynous, and there is a lot of other in-game evidence, too. Like in Breath of the Wild, when he wears the Gerudo outfit? HE IS SO PLEASED WITH HIMSELF. also that outfit is my favorite and fanart of it make me lose my goddamn mind

I guess I see him as someone who looks straight and cisgender, but probably isn’t. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

Okay, so I know canonically he is not THIS dumb, and I think he’d eventually catch on, but for my fellow Zelink shippers: I live for an oblivious Link. You know those memes about standing at the altar, saying your vows, and being like, “Okay but do you like-like me?” That’s him. I literally wrote a fic where Zelda kisses him and he thinks she doesn’t love him back. I just love any scenario where Zelda is insanely flirty and he’s like, “No, y’all, it isn’t like that, Zelda thinks of me as her best friend 😔”

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

I just?? Always imagine Link as an orphan who doesn’t remember his parents?? I don’t know if it’s because Ocarina of Time was my first exposure to the franchise or what, but even if we hear about his family, I’m like, “Ah yes, Link has no parents and he does not remember them or know anything about them at all.😌”

Specifically for Skyward Sword Link:

Link was kind of an atheist/agnostic but becoming the chosen hero and finding out Zelda was Hylia reincarnated kind of fucked that up

I think that’s unrealistic, anyway. I feel like Hylia and the goddesses are too ingrained in the lore for it to really make sense but I LIKE IT

🤔 What’s one genre you’ve never written that you’d like to try?

I’m actually not sure! Fanfic-wise, I’m pretty content writing romance-focused stories. I’ve done some slightly angsty AU ficlets, I suppose, but I think *~love*~ has been at the heart of those stories, too. 99% of my favorite fandoms are canonically fantasy, so it might be fun to play around with those settings a little more.  But basically, I just want to make my favorite characters to make out and declare their love for one another. It’s like...really fun.
