Spoilers for Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake

So, with the news that Resident Evil 9 will be returning to Raccoon City, I’ve decided to talk about something I’m kinda hoping ends up happening.

Both Nemesis and G end up dying, but one of the throughlines with both characters is their adaptability. They just DON’T die, no matter what the characters threw at them, they always came back.

So who’s to say they’re dead? Hell, they both met their end in an Umbrella facility (or in G’s case, Umbrella facility-adjacent), so what if the Nemesis parasite found the remains of G?

After all, the FINGeR was only designed to kill Tyrants. But Nemesis wasn’t JUST a Tyrant. In fact, you could argue it was just the parasite wearing the Tyrant’s skin!

It would be quite thematic to encounter an amalgam of both 2 and 3’s antagonists in the game where we finally return to the ruins of Raccoon City!

It would be even more thematic for the game to star Sherry Birkin, but it seems like they’re going with someone new/a decendent of a character from Resident Evil: Outbreak.

tldr; what if the Nemesis parasite attached itself to the remains of G.
