Gilbert: "The answer to your question is: yes, no, no.
Madeleine is the Canadian girl, and although I couldn't say that she was cute - her guardian would kill me; overprotective-much? - she certainly is...Nice. Yeah, that sounds pretty innocent.
And the only French person I know is Seigneur Francis Meter-Stick-Up-My-Jewel-Encrusted-Butt Bonnefoy - the middle name's legit. Don't believe him if he says it's Edgar. Madeleine happens to be his ward (he's the uh, overprotective guy. But shh, don't tell him I said that!).
He will be part of my crew, as my cook (degrading, he calls it, but he's broke, the pay's superb, and let's face it, who wouldn't want to be in my company for a year?), and little Mads will tag along as a visitor. A few months in space oughta be good for her; plus, one of the most acclaimed women of London society is gonna be keeping her company, and Francis hopes that'll instill some 'grace' or whatever in the poor kid.
As for the rest of the crew, my top 9 men are here, and the rest will be experienced sailors hired by the Aeronautical and Extra-Terrestrial Port of England (AETPE to us lay men)."
Ask box is open!
Important Notice
This blog will essentially be starting at zero-- that is to say, I'm resetting everything back to how it was when I first started out roleplaying Gilbert.
While this does change his characterization somewhat, it also allows for, er, all of the characters and blogs that got killed off through long and complicated things that should not be discussed here to remain alive.
So basically:
The year is 1884.
Gilbert and Ludwig live together in the Workshop. Frederick has passed away. Ivan has broken Gilbert's eye but is still alive.
A majority of the European characters live in the nearby town (Potsdam, simply for convenience).
Other characters are scattered around with more information to come.
I'll get around to posting designs and things shortly, but as of right now the askbox is open (questions I can explain best by writing will be answered first, and drawing will start to filter in as the week goes on).
I know this means there's a large gap of history and happenings from Gilbert's RP blog, but I really want to go for something more happy and hopeful than the way things turned for him.
While this blog will primarily center around the German bros. and their interactions with others, feel free to ask anyone questions! Or to ask questions about anyone.
This will also contain various drabbles and other multimedia things as time goes on.
