Years ago I made some steampunk bugs, which led to making found object bugs.....then I started playing with glass flame working ( which I love and will continue) but I find myself going back to older methods of construction too.....and I'm going to be making more steampunk bugs...like this new steampunk butterfly.

Went to the Key City Steampunk Convention in Gettysburg PA last weekend, it was great fun and a very friendly Con. Changed out the pin on my hat, for a bird made from a broken antique sector, I made this hat with the wet felt resist method years ago for a different steampunk event.
