Describe a scene from Stranger Things using only scenes from Friends. Is this a challenge? I think so!
I’ve just discovered the ship Edancy (and Stedancy) and now I’m obsessed
I knew there was something familiar about this scene. She leaned into the way Eddie did. Unambiguous sign of true love. . .❤️
Nancy to Steve: We need to need to keep an eye on Eddie at all costs. Make sure those assholes don't come after him again.
Eddie: *scoffs* It's not like you can follow me everywhere I go. I mean, what are you going to do? Crawl into bed with me?
Steve and Nancy turned to look at him.
Later. . .
Eddie was wedged between Nancy and Steve in his new bed. Nancy's shotgun was underneath his side while Steve’s bat lay under his side of the bed. Their arms were draped over him protectively. Eddie's eyes were soft and wide.
Eddie: *whispers as he's falling asleep* I feel so safe. . .my paladins.
No, Nancy's not perfect for instance when Dustin flashed those puppy dog eyes of his and asked if she could teach him to shoot, she didn't think anything would go wrong. Of course, Eddie and Steve had to witness the disaster. . .No one expected Steve to get shot in the ass.
Dustin: *crying* I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY!
Eddie: *shrieking* NOT THE ASS!
Steve: Jesus, I think it was just a graze.
Nancy: *taking the gun from Dustin* Never again.
Dustin: *sniffling* Yeah, that's fair.
Eddie: OH GOD!
Steve: It's a GRAZE, Eddie!
Nancy: And yet, it's tragic. . .if only he had a boyfriend and a girlfriend to take care of him.
Eddie: *grinning wickedly* We're his boyfriend and girlfriend.
Eddie got the first aid kit out of Dustin's backpack and pulled out some gauze.
Nancy: Drop your pants, big boy.
Eddie: *hissing like a goose* Hey! I call him that!
Dustin: This feels like it's going to get gross. . .
Nancy and Eddie positioned Steve against the tree, yanking his pants down. Dustin shrieked and slapped a hand over his eyes.
Nancy: Such a shame we have to look at it.
Eddie: *cackling* And touch it.
Steve: I AM bleeding here!
Dustin: For so many reasons, I am never touching or looking at a gun again.
Steve was taking a shower when Nancy came over with bat!Eddie. He discovered how to make himself small but has yet to figure out how to make himself big again. Nancy knocked on the bathroom door.
Nancy: Steve?
Steve: Oh, thank God, I was about to get out. I forgot the new loofah downstairs, can you please get it for me?
Nancy looked down at Eddie, sitting in the palm of her hand and she smiled. Eddie squeaked with excitement, as though he knew what she was thinking.
Nancy: *smirking* I got it right here.
She walked into the bathroom and set Eddie into Steve’s outstretched hand. She watched as Steve pulled Eddie into the shower with him.
Steve: Nancy! This isn't the loofah! This is our boyfriend! While he makes a cute looking one - *MUAH*- he makes a terrible one to use especially with his claws and wings. Yeah, good thing, though, he's going to need a good scrub, he's got a squished blueberry in his hair.
Nancy: Eddie! Those blueberries in my purse were for later!
Eddie's squeaking got louder, not at Nancy's words but at having to take a shower.
Steve: Hold still!
Nancy: Really, you want to miss out on Steve being soaped up and wet? *silence* Yeah, that's what I thought.
BANG!
Eddie: I'M BIG AGAIN!
Steve: OW!
Nancy: *laughing* Well, that's two ways to do that. . .
Eddie: Ha!
Steve: *groans*
Pre-season 4, maybe season 4 au-ish.
Jason and his friends are assholes but imagine if there were jocks who finally found the courage to stand up to those assholes and reveal that they actually like Eddie.
I know the big boy scene wasn't planned, but if it had been Nancy there to overhear it. . .
Eddie: Oh, I'm not starting her up. Harrington's got her, don't ya. . .big boy?
Steve’s driving the RV and Eddie's sitting behind Steve while Nancy sits in the passenger seat. She looks at Eddie.
Nancy: So. . .big boy, huh? Well. . .you're not wrong.
Steve: *spluttering* Nancy!
Eddie's just cackling delightfully. He raises his hands up to see how far he has to go, and Nancy grins as she leans over to adjust them.
Steve: I am trying to drive a stolen RV here!
