Gothic

You do not know where you are now, you just know it is not here. The signs above you read "airport" but you know planes don't exist. It's a fairy tale, they tell it to children. You are not a child. "Where are you now?" The voice hisses in your ear, odd considering you are alone and you do not have cochlear implants. Today you dress up, nice and pretty and tall. Too bad, however, that your mass can not change. You are now less dense than water. You recall a legend, from a long time ago. If there were boats, you would feel like a god. It's a radio. It has no batteries, there are no stations, and the volume knob is gone. Spider webs lie in the gap. Still, the static plays. Occasionally you hear a voice, it is reading of an official document. Silicon based life forms don't exist, everything is made of carbon and hydrogen. You've tried explaining this to the rock beast. He won't listen to you, as he chews on old orthodontic gear. There's a ribbon in your hair. It never moves, it isn't tied to anything. Just nestled in gently. It probably has little hooks on it. Your scalp keeps bleeding.
