For years he had seen no trace of any survivors. When the dam fell it was as if most Legion disintegrated into the sand. Leaving no evidence behind. Though he’d heard a whisper here and there that a few still lived on, he’d never been able to track any. Until now that is.

When his power armor beeped to alert to another being in the vicinity he expected wild life again. Head tilted in anticipation, the exile watched from a safe distance for what he’d assumed to be another pesky molerat. When he saw that stranger- or rather; the figure he’d forgotten about- he froze in place. Unable to react to the initial shock.

“I am imaging things again.” He murmured as he wiped dust off the lens of his helmet. But if so, the resemblance was striking.....
