James James was as drunk as ever when he walked over to Lennox with Peter. " The isn't the girl you kissed? You don't want to kiss her?" he asked, his eyes on Lennox. "Why the hell not? If you won't, I will, Wormy." His words slurred together as her spoke and without warning he pressed a sloppy kiss to her lips.
Lennox Lennox was only half paying attention to James and Peter, her focus on Stefan. She wanted to go help him but clearly he didn't want her help. James' words pulled her gaze back to them, her eyes widening but she didn't have time to react before his lips met hers. Out of instinct she kissed back but the kiss didn't last long as Doe bumped into them. She took a step back, a frown on her lips. "Jesus Potter, you taste like a bar." Not that he heard her as he took off after Doe. Shaking her head, she turned around.
James James' arm wrapped around her waist for less than a second when Doe came out of nowhere and bumped into the pair of them. He was too drunk to keep his balance, stumbling and letting go of the redhead before he yelled after Doe. "What the hell, Doe, you ruined my chances with Lennox." he yelled, following the girl. "It's /James/ Potter, Burke." he called, as he hurried after the other girl who for some reason seemed uncharacteristically angry.
Stefan Stefan had been having a rough evening so far but thankfully Nico had fixed him the best he could. He was up and about soon enough, his mind buzzing slightly from the blood he had lost and the drinks he had. His eyesight was perfectly clear though and after hearing about how Nick and Alecto were a thing, his eyes fell on Lennox who was kissing Potter. He wasn't usually the type to get angry over matters like this but for some reason it rubbed him the wrong way. As Lennox walked by, his eyes narrowed and he pointed to James who seemed to be having a heated conversation with Dorcas. "You and Potter? Really?"
Lennox Lennox was about to head back to her dorm. Although she had just arrived at the party she was already ready to leave. She had, had enough. And then she heard Stefan speak, "If you are talking about the kiss, then it clearly slipped your notice that James is drunk and he kissed me." Green eyes narrowed as she looked up at Stefan but worry was still evident in her features. "Why does it matter?"
Stefan "What else would I be talking about? Is there anything else to be talking about?" he asked as he walked over to her, his eyes fixed on hers. This was ridiculous, this just wasn't him, he shouldn't be giving a damn about who she kissed especially when he hadn't been holding back being with as many people as he pleased since their break up. But he couldn't help feeling it. Jealousy. "Let's just say I am drunk too, shall we?" His eyes narrowed just as hers did and he didn't miss a beat as he cupped her face in his hands and pressed his lips to hers. The kiss was angry but also desperate. He hated the the thought that when they parted, he may never have the chance to kiss her again. His breath hitched and he could feel his heart beat faster the moment their lips had met, his hands wrapping around her instinctively, pressing against her with no desire of ever letting her go.
Lennox "Knowing you, there is probably plenty to talk about." Lennox sighed, watching Stefan as he walked closer. "What?" The word had barely left her lips before his own were on hers. How was it she was getting kissed twice in less than ten minutes? Her hands move up to grip his shirt as she goes up on her tippy toes. She didn't want this kiss to end, this couldn't be the last time that she very got to feel his lips on hers and the thought broke her heart. Her hands shift to wrap around his shoulder.
Stefan He broke away from her for merely a few seconds, holding her closer when her hands wrapped around him. He hated it, knowing how much he had really missed her. Now that she was in his arms all he wanted was to disappear somewhere with her and never look back but if only life was so simple. "You don't reserve the right to know me anymore." he said coldly. "What do you mean what? Do you really need a reason to be kissing me?" His lips crashed onto hers again, and if his desperation hadn't been obvious before, it was now. Their lips moulded together like usual and his fingers went up the nape of her neck and traced down her back before slipping into the inside of her shirt. His eyes were closed as he took in every little detail of her, the softness of her lips against his, the taste of her chapstick, the scent of her perfume, the mere feeling of her warm breath, everything which he had gotten used to before but it had never occurred to him that they were things which he could actually miss. He hadn't realized all what he would miss about the girl in his arms till he had to let her go.
Lennox Lennox flinched at his words, almost drawing back from him embrace. His words like a punch in the face. She wasn't even sure what to say. He had a point. She lost the right to know him when she broke up with him but that didn't mean she didn't still care about it. "N-no, I don't need a reason." She mumbled, eyes meeting his before his lips descended to hers once more. The moment their lips touched, her eyes shut. Her body leaning into his touch naturally as she kissed him back. She had almost forgotten how good kissing him felt. How it made all the bad thoughts in her mind melt away. When ever he held her, it felt like the world was empty other than them. Going up on her tippy toes, her fingers moved to his hair, her body pressing flush to his.
Stefan For a moment he could almost feel himself slipping into what used to be. And he knew that she was feeling the same. But it wasn't what used to be anymore and he doubted it ever will be. He froze at the thought, pulling back from the kiss, his hands taking a grip of her arms and pushing her away from him. Losing her warmth felt like losing a part of himself but he put his emotions aside and glared down at her coldly. "Remember that when you go around kissing every drunk person there is." he said with his eyes fixed on hers, letting go of her and taking a couple of steps back before turning and starting to walk away.
Lennox Lennox looked up at him in confusion as he suddenly pulled away, about to open her mouth to speak but her words died in her throat as he pushed her away. Her heart jumped dropped to her stomach as she looked up at him, meeting his cold gaze with a sad one. And then he spoke, his words pissing her off. Without thinking about her actions, she punched Stefan in the back when he turned away from her. Tears rapidly slipping down her cheeks.
Stefan Stefan was insanely angry and it made absolutely no sense. They were broken up for weeks and they were moving on, they /should/ be moving on but it didn't seem that way. Atleast not for him. But maybe he wasn't angry at her all, he was angry at life in general and he was being sick, taking it out on her. But it just fucking hurt to see that she didn't care anymore. His thoughts were interrupted when she punched him from behind and he turned to her, looking as though she had lost her mind. But he then saw the tears in her eyes and was completely baffled. "What the hell?"
