"Steina tried to bake pancakes today... yes, these are supposed to be pancakes."
Sad news guys, Stefán’s wife, Steinunn, posted this update on her Facebook earlier today (translated using Google Translate):
What is the worst thing that can happen? Everyone keeps that fear inside.
This week we got to know that there are two new metastases in Stefán’s liver. Gallbladder cancer is a scapegoat. Tomorrow we will take the couple to Copenhagen and will enjoy being together for a couple of days, but Stephen goes to the jailbreak outside on Tuesday.
Stefán’s doctors believe that as the corpse is in the uterus, it is possible to cut it up and remove it. The Yese Scanner will provide further information on the status of the inductor and also whether there is anything else on the go. If anything else becomes apparent, the status will be re-evaluated.
It’s hard to wait for their answers.
We are naturally angry and welcome this new news, but we are also confident that Stephen is in good hands and everything will be done to improve his health.
I want to say something cool and constructive, but your mouth is full of salt.
One thing, though, I know that life is not yesterday, not tomorrow or sometime later. Life is now
He’s Here

Honestly I wasn't going to post this because I haven't been a part of the Lazytown/Latibær fandom for a while but all day I've felt like something was off, I've felt sick and I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. You were so kind, even to people you had never met, and I wish I had plucked up the courage to message you before. You don't feel like just a celebrity, you hold a place in everyone who loved you. My heart goes out to Stefán's family and friends, especially to Steinunn.
Please don't remember him as a meme, he was a brilliant actor, a wonderful person and more than just Robbie Rotten. Thank you Stefán.
Because of Steinunn now whenever I see pictures of snakes I just associate them with you. I saw a photoset of a ball python wearing little hats and a sweater and thought about Robbie knitting Steinunn a giant scarf and it is a mental image that I shall treasure.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT MENTAL IMAGE WITH ME. I loooove ball pythons. I’m still considering adopting one as a pet in fact! They’re cute little faces really inspired my basing Steinunn’s design on a snake.
I think when I have time to do some more character design artwork I want to redraw Steinunn to look more like a python!!
