The Salvatore Sandwich <3 (;
I am not prepared to find out who Elena chooses in the season 3 finale of TVD.
After Stefan came back to his senses...
I sat on my couch, leaning on the side with my legs folded. I stared out the window and zoned out as I concentrated on the droplets of water that raced to the bottom. Stefan turned on the heater and goosebumps rose along my arms as the heat greeted me. I turned my head to look at him and smiled as I watched him walk towards me with a velvet blanket and a steaming cup of hot chocolate. He wrapped the blanket around me and carefully handed me the ceramic mug. I looked at it and let the steam warm my face before I took a quick little sip that burned my tongue.
"Outh!" I muttered.
"It's... hot." Stefan said, teasingly.
"No joke." I replied as I rolled my eyes. He smirked and put the mug down on the table beside me.
"You know..." He started, easing his way beside me on the couch, making himself comfortable. "I've missed you." He whispered in my ear as he pulled me tighter to him, his strong arms locking me in.
I smiled and closed my eyes. "You saw me like, yesterday."
"and don't forget this morning." He murmured.
I giggled. He was getting incredibly cheesy... Again. It was quiet for a moment and I sighed, taking in every passing second. Everything was perfect. Stefan is perfect. He and his love for me. How can someone so beautiful be able to love so much? I saw it all right before my eyes. Going on as a human or an immortal, forever with Stefan was on my list.
"Ahem." Someone said from behind us. I let out an exasperated sigh before I turned my head to look at him.
Leaning against the doorway, wearing a crumpled, blood stained button up shirt. He stood, drunk for the third night in a row. His hair was an untidy mess and his lunch was still evident on his lips.
Before I could say anything, Stefan had already gotten up and was forcing Damon up the stairs into his room. For a second, I debated with myself whether I was going to get up to see if he was okay or if I was gonna stay on the couch. I heaved myself up off the couch and walked to Damon's room.
"Everything okay?" I peeped from behind the door.
"Elena Gilbert." Damon called out. "Can I please talk to you?"
"Damon, you can talk to her later. You need to rest. There is nothing but alcohol in your system right now." Stefan explained.
"I'm already dead, brother." The way he acknowledged Stefan had a menacing tone. "There's not much we can do. Don't worry, I've loaded up bunnies for lunch." He paused. "Playboy bunnies."
I grimaced, disgusted at the thought that Damon was back to his games.
