you know what makes me sad, is that we only get to see Stefan truly happy around 3 people and those people are Lexi, Caroline and Elena.

and Damon has ruined TWO of those relationships.

Honestly it saddens me that I can't say Stefan can be truly happy around Damon because he's not.

With Lexi, Stefan is just completely at ease and can just relax and talk to his best friend and smile and find comfort in her. 

With Caroline it's pretty much the same as Lexi. Stefan doesn't need to suppress his feelings and can just be himself and happy and even at times silly. Caroline is really a light in his life and I love that.

With Elena, though it's complicated now, in the early days with his relationship with her she really made him see that his life can have some kind of solid ground and meaning, that he can be himself and she doesn't give a damn about the darkness within him because she's right there besides him fighting the darkness as well. I feel like with Elena, Stefan was content with his life.

and then there's Damon. I don't care what people have to say about Defan, Damon only cares about himself and his infatuation with his brother's girls. In season 3 Damon promised to bring his brother back and he failed, he even gave up on him. I just... no character pisses me off more than Damon. He needs to find Jesus and become a better brother because his record SUCKS big time.
