“you okay?” ben’s lost track of how many times he’s asked that in the past few hours yet his concern remains genuine. this time it’s directed at stella, who he let into the bar upon finding her at the front door. he’s standing behind the counter and pouring a drink of her choice, dark brows drawing together and lips tightly pursed. he’s obviously not happy about what happened earlier tonight, just like everyone else.

he knew where he would have found her and that was why he didn’t stop anywhere else before getting to stella’s shop. a sigh escaping his lips before walking inside, hands shoved in his pockets. “i know you are probably, well, most likely upset after finding out about the sword, and you got all the rights and i can go if you want me to but i really wanted to check up on you.”  @stella-marshall

honestly, ben was actually thankful towards stella for stealing him away from a conversation he didn’t give a fuck about, but the look on her face stopped him from looking too relieved. “you okay?” he asked once they were tucked into a quiet corner, away from the lively festivities.
