    IT SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN ALL THAT SURPRISING, to see the high warlock of los angeles at an important party such as this. he had attended many a ball in his time. and what wasn’t even more surprising was seeing him at the bar, sipping a martini that was almost as perfect as the ones he made, almost. he had mingled a little bit as required of him when he had arrived, but then the bar had called to him. taking a long sip, he looked up, recognition showing on his face as the person approached him. “it’s an open bar, it would be a crime if i didn’t test our their bartenders, yes?”

i’m super late but all my characters will be at their event so here are their statuses and lmk if you’d like a thread from any of them!

ben is present as the werewolf pack leader and he hates his entire life because @annabcllc & @rxvenevermore probably got him to wear some stupid costume that the entire pack saw and now will never stop dragging him for. he’ll also be stealing the wallaces silverware and valuables again bc lmao?? ben hates rich people

hal is there bc raven is there and also free food. will probs be taking some pictures too bc everything looks super cool

auden is there due to being close with the wallace family but he wants to go home. catch him in a dark quiet corner sitting alone with a glass of red wine avoiding everyone else

quill probs ain’t there idk i can’t picture him really feeling the party vibe lmao nah y’all know he’s there looking GREAT and THRIVING on being the center of attention

WORLDS COLLAB -- WILSHIRE EVENT #008

a shadowhunter’s birthday shouldn’t be a big deal for the shadow world of los angeles     after all, most of them hate shadowhunters, right ? now, what if it was also the werecat pride leader’s birthday ? you heard it right, you’re about to face another enormous party thrown by the wallace family, for the twins       quill and amalthea wallace. however, it’s more than just a “party”. you’re invited to a masquerade ball. the only difference is, you’re not supposed to step inside with your modern, fashionable ball gowns and tuxes. everything is supposed to be straight out of a fairy-tale, the wallace manor will be designed with all the fancy, elite decors that’ll give you the vibe that you’ve stepped into another era, into so far off land of kings and queens, princes and princesses, knights and dragons. all you’ve got to do is... fit in. this ball has more purposes than only celebrating the twins’ birthday      it’s supposed to bring two worlds ( the downworlders, and the shadowhunters ) together and maybe, just maybe, bring an end to their recent conflict. but when did an event that brought all the species together end without a chaos ??

please feel free to continue non-event threads/start new ones since it’s quite possible for your character to not want to join the ball!! but since we’re allowing people to continue their non-event threads, we ask people that decide to be included in the event to please tag their posts as “event” or something like that !

this event will run from saturday, june 2nd at 1pm est ( 5pm gmt ) until tuesday, june 4th at 1pm est ( 5pm gmt ). we’ll let you know when the event starts.

in game the event takes place on saturday, june 2nd. it starts at 5pm pst and carries on through the night. it’ll take place in the wallace family compound.

in the future, if you want to have an event for your characters’ birthdays, weddings, etc     please don’t hesitate to message the main with your idea of what kind of party, wedding, etc it will be ! 

anyone and everyone that is tied to the shadow world in some way is welcome, plus, all the leaders got invitations.

if nothing goes wrong we’ll have a plot drop in the end, but since the admins are pretty busy these days, we can’t promise anything !

updates on my characters:

august: the moment the attacked started, august jumped in and helped out the best he could. he used his magic to save others from getting too badly hurt during the attack, came out tired but unharmed.

carmen: was by faye’s side when the attack occurred, only a few minor bruises but was relatively safe with her shadowhunter.

athena: wasn’t attending the ball, stayed at home instead, was probably working at greene’s deli at the time. unharmed.

although he’d tried to ignore the idea and view the party as a way of distracting himself, max couldn’t help but think that sooner or later there would be another casualty, another disaster. he figured it was wishful thinking to assume otherwise. spotting a familiar figure among the crowd, he downed the rest of his drink and walked over to her. “katerina,” he greeted his bond partner with a smile. “are you enjoying yourself?” @sxrenssong

ben knows faye is one of those bougie shadowhunter wallace pricks, so the moment he sees her gliding towards him he’s rolling his eyes and downing what little whiskey is left in his glass. “oh, fucking hell. i’m nowhere near drunk enough to deal with this chick,” realized ben as the beaming party host approached him with a huge ( fake ) smile.

honestly, ben was actually thankful towards stella for stealing him away from a conversation he didn’t give a fuck about, but the look on her face stopped him from looking too relieved. “you okay?” he asked once they were tucked into a quiet corner, away from the lively festivities.
