Random prompt for the alienz. Star decided they want to be tall so in order to do that, they climb on top of the tallest thing in the room (without killing or hurting themself!!!!!!) and just hang up there for a while. What are the aliens reactions?

Sun had been looking for Star for a while now. Moon was stretched out along the couch, watching a show with heavy eyelids and only partial attention- so it didn't bother him when Sun would cross in front of his view over and over again in his search. Every time Sun would huff at him to 'get up and help' Moon would glance to the top of the system of interconnected furniture that housed the entertainment unit and then shrug and assure Sun that he had every ounce of faith that Star would show back up when they wanted to or they got hungry or thirsty. And every time Sun put his hands on his hips and glared down at him before huffing and stomping off to continue his search. Each time he did Moon would send a small smirk towards the eyes peering out at him over the top of the furniture.
The first few times Star had looked at him with suspicion that he would sell them out, but after the third time they caught on to his game and even started to make a little noise here and there to try and lure Sun around. They were both silently on the same page of wanting to see if Sun could find them on his own or if one of them would have to end the game for him. Which Moon did plan to do if Sun actually started to worry about them; he wasn't in the business of actually hurting his partner and tripping his anxiety was not in the allowed parameters of Star's little bout of hide-and-seek.
After the tenth pass Sun did of the living area Moon finally sat up and gave a full-body stretch to ease his stiff and achy muscles, and then stood to wrap his fingers around Sun's wrist.
<<Star isn't coming out just because you're shouting their name.>> He tried to soften Sun up with one of his calm little smiles. <<Why don't we get started on dinner? I'm sure the smells will entice them more than your pacing will.>>
For a couple minutes it looked like Sun was going to deny him and keep searching in the way that he had been so far, but in the face of Moon's relaxed confidence his shoulders fell with a sigh as he gave in. <<Fine. But if they don't come out of hiding for dinner you'll help me look for them, won't you?>>
<<Deal.>> Moon released his hold on him and started towards the kitchen after checking the top of the furniture again. Those two shining eyes were honed in on him and he chuckled as he turned around to make his way to the kitchen.
Sun followed right behind him, grumbling the whole way, and Moon set him to the task of preparing some of the ingredients while he got the proper utensils and everything out that he would need to make the three of them food. Star liked eating what they ate as opposed to some of the human foods out there, and Moon didn't mind making a little extra of their meals as long as it was human-safe. Star tended to eat maybe half of his own portion size on a good day, it didn't add much to the work load or the cost to make some for them. From a secondary controller left in the kitchen for just such times, Moon changed the entertainment unit to a cast that was purely music- something without a heavy or fast beat to help keep Sun's energy from gearing up again- to give them both background noise while they worked together like a cohesive team, moving around each other with such ease that it was as if they had been doing so for much longer than they actually had.
He took discreet glances towards Star every so often, catching them watching one or the other of he and Sun and more out in the open than they had been in a while before they had taken their nap up high. He wore his amusement in a truly happy little smile that Sun eventually started to echo from the atmosphere between them than because he had finally found their mischievous human.
The mood was only broken when Moon finally split the meal into three portions, one much smaller and on smaller dishware than what was meant for the two larger beings. Sun looked around to see if they had drawn Star out, checking behind the counter that served as a partial barrier between the kitchen and the living space. As Moon finished setting the table and putting the food there, Sun finally turned to him with his hands on his hips again. He was doing his best to look put-out instead of a little worried but Moon saw through the facade without much effort.
<<Alright, we're done. It doesn't look like your plan has worked at all.>> The rays around his head twitched to further betray his increasing anxiousness.
Moon wouldn't let him stew any longer, these were the exact signs that he had been looking for to end Star's little game anyway and now there was a warm meal waiting for all of them. He gave one of Sun's shoulders a gentle pat as he passed him and Sun turned to watch as he approached the furniture that Star had ducked further back out of sight on and stretched up to offer his hands.
<<What are you...>> Sun started, but stopped when Star's head poked out and then they crawled close enough for Moon to be able to gently grab them under their arms and around their ribs to bring them safely back down to the floor.
Star stretched to one side and then the other once they were back on their feet, then sent a rather pleased-with-themself grin in Sun's direction.
<<How- did you know they were there the entire time?!>> Sun pinned Moon with an icy look.
Moon chuckled a tad awkwardly while Star burst out laughing before darting off towards the table and the promise of food.
<<Well. There's a non-zero chance that they didn't get up there all on their own, Sun. Of course I knew they were there, I was there the whole time watching that show, I could see them peeking at you every time you walked by.>> Moon made his way towards the table as well, dancing safely out of the way when Sun took a light-hearted swing at him with his claws.
<<You're cleaning after this! I can't believe you let me look for them for that long without just saying something!>>
Moon showed off his sharp teeth in his own cheeky grin that Star mirrored as they all took their seats to eat, Star's set with some books and pillows to boost them up to reach the table. <<And ruin their fun? I wouldn't dream of it.>>
Has Moon ever questioned anything Star has done that's deemed strange/weird and how did he react to it?

Moon kinda knew a little of what he was getting into. he is one of those types that researches before getting a pet. the problem is, humans aren't super common pets yet, so there wasn't a lot for him to go off of.
like Star's shedding. the rescue he got them from suggested, among other things to buy and take home for his new pet, a brush. he didn't think much of it, his kind don't have hair and their crests and rays don't fall off or molt at all. so finding Star's hair all over his house's surfaces? grossed him right the hell out for a while. especially seeing all the hair on their brush before they'd clean it. his peers (and himself) shedding skin? a usual thing among his people and he doesn't find it gross, but this hair business....
it also weirded him out a little how modest his pet was when it came to dressing themselves and bathing. keep in mind, he thought they were a pet then. so not wanting to be seen naked and caring about bathing alone just seemed so weird to him. later he obviously knows what's up and he blushes so hard if reminded about all that. Sun jokingly calls him a pervert just to see him get super flustered.
Star insisting on petting everything is also a little strange to him, personally. it makes him anxious that he can tell when they see something and want to touch it. he is so dismayed to learn it's not a human thing and that Sun is the exact same way.
For the alien au! So this would take place before either of the boys know we are sentient but are, I'm assuming, living together.
What would happen if Sun and Moon noticed a bag of something had gone missing. They try to find it but they can't. Until they hear some sounds of a bag rattling and they walk into whichever room and see their Human, raccoon style, eating the missing bag we had "borrowed" from them. Suddenly, their Human looks up, making direct eye contact with them for 0.5 seconds and then snatches the bag and runs under the couch with the bag of snacks we definitely didn't steal from them!
What do they do?

kind of like catching your dog in the trash for the first time, everyone's having a bit of a surprised stand-off. Moon would try to jump into action as y/n bolts, but they're smaller and quick and he also doesn't want to hurt them. for a while Moon would let Sun try to call them out from under/behind the couch, but when that doesn't work and he keeps hearing more munching he just- gently- takes Sun by the shoulders and moves him out of the way, tells him to be ready to get y/n, and moves the couch. Moon is a very tough boy, lifting it enough to get at y/n or pulling it out of the way enough for Sun to quickly squeeze in and grab them isn't a huge deal for him on most days. (guy has some pain issues, some days are not good days to be throwing around furniture.) Sun would very gently but firmly scoop them up and Moon would grab the food bag to secure it somewhere you can't get to. He and Sun, between scolding Star for running off with food like that, would talk about installing either something to keep you out of the lower storage spaces or moving anything edible up high.
a scolding and having the bag taken and being carried around by Sun for a bit would absolutely be the worst repercussion y/n faces lol. Moon may poke fun at Sun for being such a pushover with the human, but he is too he has nooooo room to talk. the child locks can come off the cabinets when they realize Star is sapient lmao.
What do all three Stellar Orbit guys think of extremely sports like the stuff you'd see on the Red bull YouTube channel shorts? Inspired based on the fact I saw one of those shorts and now I wanna wingsuit jump or parachute at least.

they'd think humans are absolutely NUTS if they knew they did that shit. for fun!!! not even because they're being chased by something and need to escape danger!!! Star is most definitely not allowed to do anything like that with them, Sun would have a heart attack and drop on the spot. even Moon, the one more likely to let Star do things if Sun's reactions will be funny, puts his foot down. nope, nope, nope. safe activities only: Star can climb with safety equipment in a controlled or monitored environment, no jumping from high things, no putting themselves around dangerous animals, so on and so forth.
Question about your alien boys! How are they gonna deal with a human who just won't eat (fear, stubbornness, sensory issues, picky, ect) for some reason? Will they go out and buy any and all types of food? Take them to a doctor? Or are they crazy enough to try the food they're tryna give the human themselves like toothless does from HTTYD?
it really depends, honestly. so when first arriving to the new planet if y/n wouldn't eat, sun would be so concerned! he'd hope that changing up what he's trying to feed you would take care of it, and also in feeding you separately- with or without him in the room. when y/n is first adopted by sun, there's another human that is taken at the same time, so after a while he'd be worried you just don't want to eat with the other one around. maybe they're bullying you for your food!
moon is a lot more quietly concerned. he does also go the route of trying other foods. he even takes you with him to pick things out, hoping that you'll come across something that looks or smells interesting enough for you to try it. he researches, sees that some humans really like sweet things while some are more into salty or spicy. he goes all out. if that doesn't work, and he notices that you were starting to get lethargic or drop weight, he would take you to a doctor.
when it's the two of them together taking care of you, if there were still points in time where you weren't eating, sun might get desperate enough to try bites of the food to prove that it's good. luckily there's not many foods that they eat that upset human digestive systems, and vice versa. there are still some things on either side that don't agree with foreign physiology, but we're not as separate in this as say the humans vs some of the aliens in mass effect, where eating each other's food hits their system like ground up glass.
that is me saying that the pic I did before of moon holding y/n while he and sun cook is canon, and they are making dinner for all three of you. hopefully something that they know you like so you partake, but if it's a trauma response kind of thing they will not force you.
Like, maybe she was born missing a limb or she was paralyzed from the waist down?
I imagine that any robotic limb that she would’ve had, or any wheelchair that she might have had would have gotten taken from her and destroyed when she got abducted.
if it was the matter of having a single limb that had a problem or was a prosthetic that would be one thing. I want to say that somewhere I said that their prosthetic they're abducted with would be destroyed and replaced by something with their current tech to make repairs plausible, I just am tired and don't want to track that down right now lmao
paralysis would change the story. just like some things that have been asked as hypothetical before would keep Cloud from running away, paralysis would too. escape would be much harder for one thing, Sun would be able to catch up, and even if they still had a chair of some sort, they'd be screwed for life as a stray. they might also not even try to get away from Sun, and he might not even adopt more than one human if he's taking one with special needs- which he does happily, he just probably wouldn't take two since the one will need more of his attention.
What do the boys think about backs/bones popping? It's just trapped air between the bones/joint under high pressure but sometimes it sounds worse! Would Moon or Sun be concerned if Star/Clouds back/fingers popped really loud? Sorry if this is a niche question, my back and arms won't stop popping and it's really freaking loud lmao
Nonny, it is not a niche question. just about all of my joints pop at will except my elbows (and sometimes my left wrist). I have to pop my back and neck all the time to help relieve aches. believe me, you don't have to explain yourself here lmao
Sun would be so worried the first few times. it's a loud sound coming from their pet!! should it be doing that??? honestly he'd probably take Cloud to a doctor, especially if they let out any sort of groan afterwards, even a happy one. he can't tell. isn't so sure when the person tells him Cloud is fine, some humans just do that though most are getting up there in years when they do, or have underlying conditions, but Cloud hasn't shown signs of those and biological markers show Cloud's not old.
now Moon isn't worried unless it's a biiiiiig pop. he's been around more species of creature than Sun has, both recognized and people and creatures considered animals. he's heard and seen them do a lot weirder than crack their backs or their fingers. so as long as Star doesn't look to be in pain after popping their bones/joints then he's not concerned. sometimes a little curious and grossed out, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if his back and shoulders pop too as years go by.
