This month was a redux on the way I approached flow with a lot of changes. I definitely have a new set of views on the approach with Stellar Echelon. Some of the challenges are all in the mind while others are completely new and dynamic. Part of it is creatively over thinking a few points of interest.

In regards to this months training, I’d have to say building / rehashing the crisis communications plan for Karletta & Styles By Kay Kay was comprehensive and revisiting it’s development was well worth the time invested. I added more substance with the intent of establishing a well rounded call log that encompassed a greater range of emergency support as well as some additional resources in the event a crisis actually occurs.

Of all the course topics that we covered this month, I would have to say that paying attention to the details as well as a having all the media lists up to date can make or break any crisis communications plan structure. Also delegating the appropriate staff that understand their role on an exceptional level. When I put together this crisis communication plan this time around I did not leave this portion open to determination. I simply took the key members and added them in its entirety.

The knowledge that I learned this month definitely has me thinking from a higher stance on operations in general. I know I am going to build an epic infrastructure with Stellar Echelon, but I will leave the smaller details to relevant staff. I am going to be the leader / boss and I do understand that I need a well rounded understanding of the inner workings of public relations.

With that being said, I am ever focused and ready to employ these cornerstone skills and change the dynamics out in my industry. With all of that’s being said the journey continues!
