Freaking names, I'll tell you. I have an English first name and an Italian last name; my relatives in the US are the only ones who can pronounce both properly, otherwise the Italian mess up my fist name, and the Americans butcher my last name :(

mi ricordo che ho visto il trailer e in due minuti ho contato quaranta cose che non stavano né in cielo né in terra. il film non ho avuto il coraggio di vederlo, scusate ma leggo dylan da quando ho dieci anni e non volevo farmi così tanto del male DDDDD: no ma giuro è proprio un palesissimo esempio di come prendere un prodotto non americano e stravolgerlo in ogni possibile modo perché altrimenti non lo vendi in america. cristosanto che orrore sul serio.

It was the same for me, some of my teachers used to give me so much shit for my US accent/vocabulary, no idea what the hell they were expecting, considering they all knew I'm a freaking US citizen /o\

I was perpetually given shit for saying I liked US lit better than brit lit XDDD like my teacher really hated that lol. but yeah generally AE is seen as the ultimate sin which tbh I think is idiotic, as long as your damn students speak some english just be happy XD
