#stem rot

With a sea of plants I missed all the signs that my only echeveria was suffering from stem rot. I managed to chop off the top and save some leaves but most of the plant wasn’t salvageable. I have next to no experience propagating these plants so I am hoping for the best

Hey! I don’t know what sort of succulent this is, but I’ve noticed this brown mark. I thought it was sunburnt, so I moved it into a shadier spot. However, it looks like the mark has grown. Do you know what this is? Thanks in advance!

This looks like stem rot, friendo. It will keep spreading until it takes over the whole plant. The best course of action would be to cut the stem above the mark, and try to reroot the top half of the plant.

Stem soft rot of cempedak trees due to overwatering. This disease block water from flowing through xylem toward the affected stem. The leaf start to lose its vigor and started to dry up completely on the next day
