ABBOTT ELEMENTARY ⇢ 1x09 | STEP CLASS
I-I just don't like pizza! What?! Say that again. I don't think I heard you, son. Sweetheart, what do you mean you don't like pizza? I just don't understand the concept of having a bunch of ingredients just slosh around in your mouth! It's not just pizza. I've got like four or five things that I actually like, and I just stick to those.
Week Nine
Hi, folks! It's that time of the week again. For Week 9, we'll be rewatching "Step Class" (1.09)!
Ava asks Janine to help her teach the after-school step class, but they don't agree on how to run the program; Gregory must reveal a secret when Barbara, Melissa and Jacob plan a pizza "eat-off."
Fittingly enough, it's also Janelle James/Ava Coleman Appreciation Week! If you make content for either the episode or Janelle/Ava, be sure to tag the blog!!
Gregory looking over to Janine and then just stealing glances before the camera catches him...AAAHH MY HEART!!
Faith does step for the first time in years and survives
The step class was so fun!
I hung out on a cross-trainer machine outside the studio for 5 minutes before the class while checking out the last class finishing and people going in for this class. Tried to observe all my anxious thoughts, such as “what if I’m the only one signed up”, while not getting tied up in them. Burned 30 calories cross-training and 300 in anxious brain activity.
Anyway, people started going in so I tagged on and followed them to the step cupboard and found a place at the back of the studio. Though it’s never really the back because when you all turn round, suddenly you’re at the front 😖 I stuck my hand up to admit I hadn’t done this particular class before though I had done step.
The teacher looked at me a bit doubtfully and said it’s not a beginner class, and you might want to take your step down a level - but I hung on to my double risers and said I’d see how I went.
All my past step experience came back to me once we got started and my feet and arms remembered the moves. I was concentrating so hard on the choreography that the time whizzed by.
Loved it. Definitely going to try and make it a regular thing. And it was worth pushing through the anxiety pain to get there ☺️
Went to a 30 minute step class last night with a 30 minute strength/weights class after! Watch out March, I’m not coming to PLAY! These next 18 pounds will be gone in no time!
my favanine pieces hehehe
