How to shift: A step-by-step guide
Reading some posts here made me realize that, although they are helpful, they aren't very specific.
People with ADHD/Autism or even people who overthink in general probably don't get the concept of âaccepting you're thereâ or âjust not questioning itâ. And as someone who has not only ADHD but also the tism, Iâm your best-friend, and I can relate.
I am here today to not only explain, but give you steps. That's right, instructions on how to shift to just âassumeâ you're there!
But first, some information you should know:
Have problems? Don't ignore them.
One mistake I see a bunch of people making is just ignoring their problems in their current reality (CR) because âIâm not gonna be here for long anyway.â My shayla noooooâŚ! I get it, I really do. I used to do that too. But ignoring your problems here pressures you to believe that you're already there, which in turn causes you to not believe (get it?) The pressure makes your brain think âwe have to believeâ instead of âI believeâ and that makes it a chore, rather than something you do subconsciously. If you have a deadline, or an exam, youâll have to work on it and study for that exam to get it off your mind.
2. Need-to-know basis
Something you need to know before starting to shift is the process/es to get there. If you're someone who used to get their information on Shiftok before migrating here, then I need to answer a question you might have lingering in your mind.
-âIf the way to shift is to assume, then why do the people in Tiktok still shift after doing a method and stuff?â
Peep this: It's cause they believe.
If you haven't picked up on it after reading and watching a bunch of posts, let me spell it out for you: The only thing that really matters is belief.
The reason the people in Tiktok still shift is because what they assume is that you need to do a method and count to a hundred or whatever to get there, and in turn, what they assume becomes reality. And they shift.
But you don't need to do allat. You can just assume, and be there. It's that simple.
Get it now?
Basically what you believe, what you assume, reflects in reality. And that's why people on Tiktok still shift.
Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, other than belief matters.
3. Intention
Adding to number 2, is the topic of intention. People say stuff like; âall you need is intentionâ or âyou need to believeâ.
And let me tell you what; it's actually belief.
If you BELIEVE that all you need is intention to shift, then that's all you will need to shift. (Get it?)
It all stems from belief.
What's that I hear? You don't believe in shifting? You're skeptical?
Guess what buddy, it's real. And there ain't nothinâ you can do about it.
Why? How? Cause we live in the same reality as of right now. That's how you're reading this, right?
Well Iâve shifted. And so have the other people posting here. Iâve lived over 10,000 years total in other realities. And Iâm here to tell you that it's real. Cause Iâm typing this in the body of a fourteen year old girl. Do you think a fourteen year old would have this much information on shifting? Nah. I come from experience. 10,000 years of it.
4. The enemy
Now that you know a few things, I should clarify the real enemy youâre up against in this battle, this journey to shift.
The 3D.
If you don't know what the 3D is, it's basically everything you see around you. Where you are right now.
(By the way, if your definition to having shifted is that you see your DR around you, that's wrong. Change the definition in your head.)
Why is the 3D your enemy, you ask? Because it's going to show you that you're still âhereâ when you're not. While you're constantly affirming that you're there, the 3D will show you that youâre not, and that'll discourage you.
But the truth? The 3D is like a computer. It needs you to operate it in order to function. And it's also really slow. It's an old ahh computer from the 1990âs so when you click something (decide/assume/believe you're in your DR OR) it takes flippinâ forever to load. But that doesn't mean the action hasn't already been done. It has. You're already there. The screen just hasn't loaded yet. (The 3D)
And please, don't get stuck in a loop, constantly looking at the 3D for validation. Because it's just an old, laggy, virus infected computer that takes forever to load/update its screen. But it's done. So please, ignore what you see. (But don't ignore your problems, or basically anything that makes you think about your CR OR.)
5. The truth
Truth is, no one but you can make you shift. You can read this whole thing start to end, and do the same to other posts and still not be able to. Well, unless you assume and actually believe that by the end of the post you'll immediately spawn into your DR OR. You should persist in believing.
What that? You don't entirely believe?
You're dumb. You can't accept the truth. And the truth is that youâre already there.
But fine, here's a tip: Just keep affirming that you're there. Cause your dumb brain can't tell the difference between repetition and the truth.
Keep saying it, and it'll be true. Even if it's just in your head. Especially if it's just in your head.
(Note: You can read this, assume, then get frustrated because nothing is happening then go back to being miserable. But just know that this post has literally everything you need to know to shift. Even if youâve never even heard of shifting before. And it's you that the problem. So don't. Don't become like that. Because if this post can't help you, nothing can. Nothing but you. There's not a single video on this planet, or even the multiverse that can give you life-changing information that'll make you shift automatically. No sir-rie. It's only you. You already have the information deep within yourself, from this post and many others. All you have to do is put it to use and SHIFT!)
And finally, here are the steps on how to shift.
Step 1: Close your eyes and decide that you are already there.
Imagine youâre on the 3D computer, and your DR CR is an application on your taskbar. When you decide, you're basically clicking the application.
Step 2: Breathe easy, and let it sink in that you are already there.
Revel in the fact that you already clicked the application. (That you're already there.)
Step 3: Live your daily life until the dam puter loads properly.
When you wake up, when you sleep, when you eat, when you breathe, when you doubt, when you blink, when you piss, when you crap, do it knowing that youâre already there. Keep affirming, keep believing.
Just keep acting normally (without that âI won't be here for long anywayâ mindset) and do your best to keep your mind off things that relate to the laggy computer (the 3D). And even if you do have to worry about something, just know that it doesn't change the fact that you're already there.
Step 4: Be happy
That's it! You did it. No matter what happens, or whatever comes your way, youâve already shifted. You're already there.
Iâm so happy for you. I can't believe youâve come this far. But at the same time, I can.
Honestly though, this day has been long overdue, right?
You should've realized that youâve been there this whole time a while ago, huh?
That's ok. Better late than never.

I've been asked a few times now, if these kinds of illustrations are traditional or digital. it's both <: The inks are traditional, made with 03 or 05 micron pen.
Then I take it to Clip Studio. Paint-bucket and basic brushes are used for big blocks of color and some preliminary details.
Brushes: Dense Watercolor, Transparent Watercolor, India Ink Darker Bleed, Bit Husky, G-pen, Milli Pen, Cross hatching texture brush. Blend: Running Color On Fiber
Somewhere in there, I'll pick up a free-to-use watercolor texture and set it on overlay, to see how it meshes with the values I already sketched in. I'll finish up the rest of the smaller details/values with the same above brushes. And voila.
