games i played in june! idk why but after playing nothing but hadestwo to increasingly absurd levels of difficulty for months, i decided to finally start making my way through my backlog of games i bought for a few bucks on sale over the last decade

completed: citizen sleeper / far: lone sails / firewatch / inkulinati / king of the bridge / road 96 / paper trail

ongoing: norco / celeste / hades 2 / elden ring / death's door (completed the main game when it first released, coming back to it now after some experience with elden ring to try and get the umbrella achievement. dark souls!!)

I swear at this point that the best thing about this game is watching things like Luigi sniping enemies from halfway across the map

If you told little kid me that one day she'd be playing something where Mario characters got to use guns she'd have been flabbergasted (but also hyped to see Yoshi firing a damn rotary cannon)

Honestly if Death Note is set in the same world as Ace Attorney, I have SO MUCH MORE sympathy for Light's frustrations with the legal system.

So I had my first game over screen in Greedfall all cos I forgot what key I bound health potions to, and Vasco literally just shouts: "take a health potion, we're losing you!"

Bringing varric and a romanced fenris along on the mark of the assassin dlc was the best idea, the banter is golden
