Super Yaki has teamed with The Kingcast to release an Andre Gower Rules shirt - parodying the Stephen King Rules design that Gower famously wears in The Monster Squad. All proceeds will be donated to Gower to help cover medical bills after his recent heart attack.

As a life-long Monster Squad fan I was excited to learn there was a documentary about the film being made called...

Wolfman’s Got Nards

Exploring the impact the film has made on cinema, culture, and their evergrowing, passionate fanbase over the last 30 years.

I was even more excited to learn that one of my Monster Squad art-prints made into the film (they animated my illustration of the squad’s clubhouse and it is beautiful!)!!!

So, when I learned the documentary was showing at the Louisville Supercon with the actors who played Sean (one of the creators of the doc), Phoebe, and Rudy...I had to go for multiple reasons!

And the documentary did not disappoint. It was beautiful, nostalgic, heartwarming (I cried multiple times), and reminds me of everything about storytelling that I still LOVE today...that impacts my art to this day.

It reminded me of why I AM a fan.
