Aw. Alright well! I'm honored to be able to teach you! :) Firstly how to greet someone...Most people assume Bonjour is just flat out "hello" but it actually also means "good day/good evening/morning" as well. It's more of a formal greeting and for people you don't know that well. Whereas Salut,which is the French equivalent of "Hi" is a bit informal and can be used for people you know super well/are close with..Simple basics but..Thought I'd start out here!
So I can use "Bonjour" all day?? That's amazing. Sometimes it's afternoon and I say "good morning" and the person gives me a look as if I were from another planet- and I'm like "calm down it's 1pm, my brain didn't have time to update yet."
