On leading walking tours and walking culture
I’ve mentioned in the past week or so about how my love of crafting guided bike rides exploring history and geography has been rekindled. I have been doing it for almost twenty years, and my enthusiasm was much stronger in the early days, so having that enthusiasm back again is nice. But I’ve also been thinking about leading walks again, especially seeing how some folks out in the Twin Cities…

Going for my final river walk of #STEPtember @steptemberau; tomorrow I’m back in the office. Looking heaps cool with my bumbag. I #STEPfor my little brother Jackson, and I can say all sorts of things like he was an inspiration, and the strongest and bravest person I knew, but the only thing that matters was that he was my brother. I’m walking for him, for money for research and equipment and support, and so that other families can have more time than we did. He would’ve dissed my bumbag, but that’s cool. https://www.instagram.com/p/CjCQUcdPUMGaE7JiZ9jlxiiOigDqezuWGAZ0nA0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Hey Guys, my friend Anisha has been raising money for people with cerebral palsy.
She’s halfway to her goal and needs a bit of help.
I’ve donated $10 as that’s all I could afford. If anyone else is able to chip in that would be great to see 😊

Sponsor me this STEPtember, as we move together to support children and adults living with cerebral palsy
Done and dusted and toughter than I thought! 350,000 steps in September. Did you know that there are 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK. Every five minutes, someone in the UK has a stroke. That is over 100,000 strokes a year. Depending on which part of the brain is affected, you may suddenly face communication and physical difficulties, or you may find that your emotions and personality are affected. The impact of a stroke can be completely life-altering Well done to all the superstars who took part 🌟 #steptember #thewanderinglondoner #theanfieldtourist #strideforstroke #stroke #strokerecovery #strokerehab #strokeawareness #strokerehabilitation #strokelife #strokeprevention #strokesurvivorsneverquit (at Victoria Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUXRlI6IPgG/?utm_medium=tumblr
