do you have any underrated sterek headcanons from season 3 or 5?

My personal favourites include

Stiles being aware of the Nogitsune. There are moments where the Nogitsune’s hold slips because Stiles fought back. Everyone thinks Stiles is skinny and weak, but he’s stronger than they know.

Stiles and Cora are actually good friends. Stiles might be the only person that Derek hasn’t scared off to protect his sister because he knows Stiles would never hurt Cora (and he can handle himself if Cora starts something)

Stiles working through the guilt and trauma of the Nogitsune. After season 5, he spends a lot of time helping Mason deal with the guilt and trauma of the Beast.

Stiles covered in scars since he doesn’t have supernatural healing.

Derek following Stiles when he starts sleepwalking so that if he wakes up somewhere he’s not lost and freaking out.

What does Stiles smell like to Derek?

I change for every fanfiction/universe I write them in (because each version of them would smell different in my mind)

My most recent WIP has the following for Derek:

Scent had never been something Stiles focused on when sitting next to someone, but Derek smelled like the earth – dirty, woody, and spicy all rolled into one. It was like nothing Stiles had smelled before, like a home he had been missing his whole life.

And for Stiles (which may or may not be mentioned) I have him smell like:

Cool rain off the waves of the ocean, petrichor, sour limes, sweet oranges, and black tea that's been left to steep a little too long. An edge of bitter - like crushed dreams

Derek would buy Stiles’ first binder but it would be awkward as hell because Derek just straight up asks Stiles for his chest size and Stiles is like wtf dude???

Derek would also threaten Stiles’ new binder with his claws if he doesn’t take it off after the recommended time

When Stiles has his first t-shot, Derek is there to ease the pain. Then he eases the pain every time. Fast forward a bit and Stiles has to take it without Derek one day and is like “wait this doesn’t hurt at all wtf”

Stiles finds the website to custom make packers and you can even send in pictures of dicks as reference. Tries and fails to convince Derek to have “matching dicks”

why was derek so hostile towards stiles at first?

bc stiles is a loud-ass motor mouth and derek had gotten used to life being just him and laura...? bc stiles is a clumsy, fragile human that he didn't want to have to babysit...? bc he knew stiles was scared of him and it was easier that way bc it was one less dynamic for him to deal with...?

but mainly bc werewolves inherently KNOW when they smell a potential mate, and derek? derek did not know how tf to handle that.

Stiles ABSOLUTELY wanted his and Derek’s first dance to be “danse macabre” because think of the drama Der! and Derek would secretly agree with him, but for the sake of the Sheriff’s heart he would have to convince Stiles that they should dance to love song by taylor swift instead

What are some headcanons for Sterek do you have?

My kink is Pack as Family and Derek Hale living his best life. Anyone can fight me about it.

Derek puts in the effort to be close with the Sheriff to the point where when Stiles leaves Beacon Hill's for university, Derek takes it upon himself to keep the Sheriff eating right and taking care of himself, and that's honestly step one of Wooing Stiles Stiliniski because his dad is his goddamn world okay??

Derek getting comfortable being comfortable is a BIG MOOD. He has grocery lists and favourite restaurants and routines where he regularly interacts with people who don't know he's a wolf, and he just has a life outside of the Pack because Stiles' kink is growth and maturity and Derek's hitting them hard.

Derek's still learning how to be physically affectionate so Stiles takes it upon himself to make it easy for him. Hugs? Hand holding? Snuggling? STILES IS HERE FOR IT. Stiles can be found regularly saying don't worry big guy, I got ya covered! Before wrapping himself around Derek like the human personification of an octopus.

When Stiles get stressed out he cleans. Like a lot. Derek knows this and leaves messes for him to fix. Nothing too bad. Just like, leaving the canned goods out on the counter after grocery shopping or leaving the clean laundry unfolded in the basket.

Stiles loves baking and it's the worst because he knows very well that Derek has a secret sweet tooth and he can't be stuffing his face with cinnamon rolls damnit Stiles, I have a reputation.

When Stiles is on a research spiral he does not take care of himself. At all. What is a shower? What is breakfast? So Derek is forced to mother hen all over him. Derek pretends it's a great trial to bear, but Stiles is as happy as a clam.

The Pack know Derek is weak to their whims so whenever they want to do something, they ask him because Stiles is their Pack Mom and he will say no.

amber, tell me your fluffiest sterek headcanons

CHARLIE, YOU’RE TOO SWEET! I HAVE SO MANY

- Derek’s a huge cuddler and at first, he was really about it, not wanting Stiles to think he was too needy or clingy, but he eventually gets over it. When Stiles slips out of bed, even if it’s just to run to the bathroom, Derek will wake up and moan and groan and make grabby hands until Stiles lays down with him again

- the first time Stiles sees Derek in his lounge clothes (baggy sweatpants, a tank top, unshaven, with messy hair) he almost cries because Derek looks so soft and comfy and he’s just so engrossed in his book that he only realizes Stiles is there when he clears his throat

- when Derek and Stiles have their first daughter, that they name after Stiles’ mother and Derek’s sister, they both become overprotective cuddly dads who are super sweet but will kill a man if they so much as bump into their precious bundle of joy

- Derek adopts a stray cat who’s almost as grumpy as he always pretends to be and it only likes him (and later their kids) but hisses at everyone else, even Stiles

- Derek starts tearing up the first time the Sheriff calls him son (and then John does the same when Derek responds by calling him dad)

- on rainy days, Derek and Stiles just lay in bed and watch the rain on the windows, just cuddling and holding each other

There are definitely more but these are the ones that immediately come to mind.
