stwest backside room on first floor
Stetson West corner room-double. Freshman dorm- women’s engineering and computer science LLC 2016-2017.plenty of storage on shelving and cabinets with doors above closets. No doors on closets. Size seems typical of college dorm but with more than enough storage.
Stetson West - double, communal bathrooms
Stetson West - freshmen housing, double. This picture isn’t the best but imagine a mirrored image connected and that’s about it. Small but cozy enough for first year housing.
west has rainbow dinosaur sprinkles this has been a public service announcement
Hi there! Your posts about Northeastern have been quite helpful! Can you give any insight into Stetson West?
conveniently, if you go to orientation you will actually be staying in stetson west so you’ll get to look at it for yourself! Other than orientation I haven’t been in Stetson West much. I assume it’s more or less the same as Stetson East though. Pretty standard sized dorm rooms, beds are usually unlofted, you have like a shelf thinggy that goes across the wall that you can put stuff on. Your desk chair are nicer than those that were in my dorm haha you have like cushioned spinny chairs. The stetsons have common areas on certain floors that are pretty nice, couches and tvs and stuff. They also have study rooms with whiteboards that you can use. The bathrooms aren’t so bad, but I mean I never actually had to deal with communal bathrooms so I guess I’m not a fair judge of that. Definitely bring a fan if you’re living in a Stetson!
Stetsons both have dining halls in them.
Stetson West’s dining hall has kind of annoying hours, it’s only open for lunch and dinner but it closes early. It’s a smaller dining hall so it doesnt have as much food as Stetson East does, BUT west has stir fry!!! You can put everything you want in your stir fry into a bowl and they cook it for you! downside, it can take a while for them to actually cook it, but it’s so worth it.
Stetson East has the more popular dining hall. It’s bigger and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll probably eat there during orientation so you’ll get that experience then. **In general the food at school is good, it just gets a bit repetitive.
Living in a Stetson is pretty much like getting the typical college dorm though. It’s pretty stark when you first move in, but just decorate it a bit and you should be good! :)
