Anyone else ever think about the similarities between Steve Rogers and Toby Ziegler?
Both cranky, fight me, full of snark, grew up as an outsider, SJWs from Brooklyn, with chips on their shoulders as big as the moon.
I’m not even coherent enough for a proper analysis but someone way smarter than me should run with this.
Concept: Steve standing in some convenience store with tears rolling down his face, staring at 14 different kinds of bottled water while Total Eclipse of the Heart blares over the store speakers.
In Winter Soldier when Sam asks Steve what makes him happy and Steve just shrugs and says I don't know my heart literally breaks when has Steve ever in his life done anything for himself??? It kills me.
When Joss Whedon writes Steve Rogers better than you do, it's time to reevaluate your characterization.
you know I kinda feel bad for Steve because in the beginning of CATWS he meets a cute guy and flirts with him and come on, he's so obviously into Sam, then all of a sudden the world goes bananas AGAIN and his dead boyfriend waltzes back into his life and Steve Rogers can't catch a fucking break.
How hadn't Steve gotten his shield stolen? He apparently didn't lock his windows, and he literally left it lying against part of a wall in his house. Like, Steve, that is probably one of the most expensive, irreplaceable items in the world, and you left it lying around your apparently unlocked appartment
My Sexuality: Steve ripping a log in half.
