While the violent mob swarmed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, aiming to subvert democracy and keep President Donald Trump in power, another group was already working on the same project inside. In an unsuccessful bid to prevent Congress from certifying the results of the 2020 presidential election, 147 Republicans formally supported objection to counting Joe Biden’s electoral votes. Some have already left office. But as many as 117 members of Congress are running for reelection in 2024. Here they are, drawn together; a collection of American politicians engaged in using democracy in order to attain the power to subvert it. [color emphasis added]

Don’t expect Republicans to make any sense. They gerrymander severely in order to make up for the declining numbers of their base. Then they tell their their followers not to get vaccinated or wear face masks and they then see their numbers decline even more due to a disproportionate number of MAGA COVID-19 deaths.

Republicans are basically treading on themselves despite their snake flags.

Feast your eyes on all the truth in this amazing Steve Brodner illustration. Trump’s Disastrous First Year has been our worst in modern history. We need Trump Impeached in 2018. We need to end his lying, racist, sexist, traitorous, greedy, free-speech hating, fascist, war-mongering administration ASAP. Call your senators and representatives and tell them Trump needs to be impeached for his emoluments violations, his brazen obstruction of justice and for his campaign’s conspiracy with Russia to throw an American election. The Mueller Investigation is our best hope until 2020. But Heaven help us if Trump lasts in office that long. Elections in 2018 are our next best hope — to Flip the legislative branch to significant Democratic majorities, to impeach this vulgar, arrogant, ignorant and violent threat to all we hold dear. We the people have the power.
