Like I’m just saying I will basically support any pairing with Elizabeth Webber (my #1 day 1 favorite) except Franco

Elizabeth and Detective Chase ✔️ like come on they have had like 3 scenes together but they’d be so pretty

Elizabeth and Griffin ✔️ pretty favs who deserve better

Elizabeth and Jason ✔️ even better #myogghcouple

Elizabeth and Drew ✔️ they were cute when he was new in town

But like Franco is so not good

Maybe this is just because Michael will always be my #1 of the characters closer to my generation

Or maybe because I really used to enjoy Lulu and he strapped her to a bomb

Or maybe I’m just sick of him being shoved down my throat

Or maybe just maybe he takes up all the screen time and makes Elizabeth look pathetic

Like girl he LEFT YOU AT THE ALTAR! And she wasn’t even mad! She just sat there after the earthquake crying and having flashbacks of a couple that should’ve never been a couple

It disrespects Elizabeth Webber (who btw in case you are new was raped when she was a teenager and it was a big part of her character to this day). By putting her in a toxic relationship with Franco who basically caused Michael’s rape and lead Sam to believe for years that he raped her. It just disrespects everything that she stood for. She survived and she thrived but putting her with Franco has diminished that so much.

Also when her rapist came back to town the storyline wasn’t about her dealing with it or putting it to rest. It was about Franco!! He was the main character in the storyline of HER rapist returning!

And on the 20th anniversary of her rape she told Jason of all people to get over it and move on about his hatred of Franco (his hatred is completely justified btw)

I’m just sick of Elizabeth Webber, a legacy character and the granddaughter of Steve and Audrey being written like this where all her scenes (which there are very few of) are about her propping Franco. Even Ric wasn’t this bad and he was about to smother her that one time and didn’t he poison her too?? Like it’s basically Ric 2.0 but worse because even after they divorced he was still creepy whenever he was around her until like 2007 when Jason like beat him up
