Sex Education Characters as Zodiac Astrology Big Three Thread - What's Your Combo??? (Part 2) [**For Fun Only - Not Canon Official**]
so, my mom and i watched season 2 of Sex Education together and i have some notes and things i’d like to say about it.
to begin, please know this is my own personal opinion, so please respect it.
ALSO DISCLAIMER: SPOILERS UP AHEAD. READ WITH CAUTION.
now, overall, i really enjoyed the second season. i felt it stayed true to the first season with ease. it was just as good as the first season, maybe even better. the soundtrack, aesthetics, everything. i loved everything about it, almost. i have one complaint about the show, (again, this is my opinion) it’s that Ola’s character is so unlikeable. everytime she came on screen, i sighed. this isn’t because i am a Maeve x Otis shipper, it’s because her character to me brings out the worst in all the other characters. she pisses me off, and i hate it. her character is annoying, and stand off ish. i liked her father, but Ola, she was something else. now that’s out of the way, i’ll speak about what i liked.
I liked the amount of LGBT+ representation in this show. it was nice to see, and i felt it was a right step forward to normalizing LGBT couples. Eric is a such a lovely character. As is everyone else (except Ola) and i liked the character development with the teens finding themselves, like Adam, Ola, and that one scottish girl (i forget her name.)
next, i like the friendships made this season, between Jackson and Viv, it was lovely to see instead of having the popular kids stick with their popular friend groups. it was refreshing to see.
next, the family problems. this show has always been great at showing the family problems. when it comes to Maeve and her mother, and Otis and his father. It shows that family isn’t always great, and I think that’s great for the audience to see.
overall, great show.
congratulations to triangle steve for probably being demisexual
