Sometimes I think about a fanfic idea where it's Gravity Falls x Reader (platonic ofc) and the reader (in this case YOU) summon Steve Pyramid and the whole main cast of Gravity Falls think you're a villain due to it not knowing Steve is just a lil guy and you're actually fucking sick of said lil guy who just wants to experience human stuff in exchange for helping with other stuff.
So Steve really just possess your body, you get cartoonish powers like infinitive pockets and- honestly? Your power can only have a limit if you think there is one ("no that doesnt make sense" is what usually ruins your borrowed powers) and in exchange Steve is just like "lololol i wanna try the juice the tiny human made with the sparkles :3"

Another scenario for a Reader AU was you'd be Bill's 'caretaker'. Bill would take some sort of other form while you take him in the world he tried to destroy/ take over (Gravity Falls universe) and you collect any artifact or hints/proof of Bill Cipher. I imagined Bill would transform into a weapon like in soul eater, forced to do good or something.
You both each other, of course, but work well as a team.
