Tony didn't mean to become Steve's BFF and the greatest thorn in his side at the same time, it just sort of happened. In a world where Tony Stark didn't come out as Iron Man, he has managed to keep his identity a closely guarded secret, even from many of his teammates... the only problem is Steve Rogers seems to be falling for Iron Man, and he doesn't much care for Tony Stark.

Why read: The pure delight of a fic with Steve being skinny and little and still a total badass cannot be expressed. That it comes with a side order of identity issues, retelling of IM1, and a wonderful Steve/Tony relationship only makes it even more awesome.

Why read: It's both heartbreaking and uplifting, which is appropriate for a fic about kids and custody problems. Of course, it's Dummy/DJ Stark so nothing is straightforward and it's as much about DJ adjusting to all the changes as it is about Tony. I really enjoyed the examination of Tony and his slow, painful growth into being a parent and learning to find new, less self-destructive ways to handle his problems. It's a fic with some beautifully lovely moments and a whole lot of character examination, that tore my heart at times but left me feeling happy at the end.

That’s what bots are for. Steve isn’t sure how he feels about that.

Steve. He’s got a lot of catching up to do and Tony has three modes: working, horny, sleeping. None of those mods including watching TV.

Steve. Tony fixes heat for blow jobs.

Tony again. And again. AND AGAIN.
who remembers to buy the milk:
Steve. There’s a principal involved so JARVIS doesn’t get to order milk. If he has to live with bots cleaning up after him, he’s damn well going to be in charge of buying milk.

Steve. They’re important to him. Tony does well if he remembers which day of the week it is, never mind whether it’s his birthday or their first-date-aversary.
