A lot of you don't know this, but my grandfather was an avid #49ers fan, I mean this man was a diehard #49ersfaithful. I remember sitting there watching #jerryrice #joemontana & #steveyoung with him, just to name a few. I remember the joy that football brought to him. That man worked so hard to provide for his family, he served his country in the #usnavy and football was his way to unwind. Because of him, of all that he did for me, all that he taught me #football will always hold a special place in my heart. When he passed away, I didn't get to go to his celebration of life ceremony due to some BS family drama. Today our beloved team is in the #superbowl . I am wearing my #georgekittle jersey, I've got my #sanfranciso49ers blanket, and I have my grandfather with me. His ashes are in that vial on my necklace. Today we get to watch our boys play in the biggest game of their sport. I know a lot of people think football is just a bunch of dumb jocks, but to me it is so much more than that. To me, it is one of the remaining connections to a man who inspired me, who shaped so much of who I am, a man who loved me unconditionally. My love of this game and this team runs deeper than just sports. I will always bleed #burgandyandgold . #thisoneisforyougrandpa Not a day goes by that I do not miss him, that I do not feel a hollowness in my heart from his loss, but today that loss is a little easier to bear because I can feel him with me, because today we will be cheering on our team. #iloveyougrandpa #ripgrandpa I'm so honored to be a part of him and of his legacy.
