PETE WENTZ'S LOST MTV SHOW PILOT
Pete has always been a jack of all trades, even in his little hardcore bands in the 90s, and continuing into his stardom. Us at the FOB Archive are consistently impressed by just how much *stuff* this guy has done- most intriguingly, when he dips his toes into acting. Watch this video to learn all about Punk Is Dad, Pete's attempt at a sitcom for MTV that is currently mostly lost. What do you think? Would this have been a killer show, or a major flop?
Fun fact for those who have read this all: This isn't Pete's only stint in TV show making. He also tried to make a show called "Permanent Vacation" that has virtually no information available on it. He also pitched a kids cartoon about protecting the environment called "Bronze Blue" with Mark Hoppus of Blink-182. Pete would have voiced a fish rockstar, but the show never made it past the pitch bible, which is viewable online.

“No way.” He shook his head at you, you sending him a pout.
“C’mon, stevo, it’ll be so fucking cool.”
“Hot pink? Out of every color?”
“Yeah. I liked it.” You said with a shrug, “plus, you’d look great with hot pink hair!”
“I look great with any hair.”
“Whatever, Stevo, pleaseeee? You did say I could dye it any color.”
“I guess I dug my own grave with that one.” He murmured, looking at you, finally submitting with a sigh. “Fine.”
You practically dragged his large frame to the bathroom, sitting him down on the closed toilet seat while you set everything up on the counter with a smile.
You turned back to him, him shaking his head to himself as you walked over.
“You’re so lucky I love you.” He told you, you leaning down to peck his lips.
“Love you too.”
Once it was done, He stared at himself in the mirror, messing with his hair a little, pursing his lips together.
“It’s not bad. I kinda like it.” He told you, you grinning victoriously.
