yk how when a dog is raised in a really small space, it'll pace in endless circles even after years have passed and even when there's enough space? Yeah, that but with Shadow. I imagine the Lab section of the ARK wasn't very huge, or was full of fragile glass and tech anyway.

I am a believer of Sonic being kind of shy or touch averse when it comes to physical affection, so I think that even if he was in a relationship with Amy, that fact wouldn’t really change (though maybe he’d be a bit more open to her hugs and kisses so long as they’re not overwhelming or in public)

But when he does choose to show physical affection, it’s probably pretty subtle. The way he often carries Amy like a princess whenever they need to get somewhere fast inspired me to head canon that this is one of the ways he feels comfortable initiating touch- by finding some practical excuse for it hehe

Also, he’s definitely not a fan of PDA, but his arm will subconsciously find its way around Amy. Either by obnoxiously leaning on her or resting a hand on her shoulder

I just like the idea of him keeping a gentle hand on her back or a casual arm draped over her shoulders when he’s relaxed and around their friends 💖💖💖

In a body swap scenario with Sonic characters, I believe Sonic would be the only one to know how to fly in Tails' body. Everyone else would just twist up the tails.

I believe Sonic would know because in some versions he was there when Tails learned how to (including the Sonic Origins version, which is the current version the games are going off of), and even in other versions he is depicted as the closest to Tails.

fun idea! shadow starts to die slowly no one, even himself, even notices it at first but he starts getting weaker and his mind starts getting foggier and he realizes that the only way he can actually use chaos energy as usual or even function normally is if he has off one inhibitor ring he has a harder time using chaos energy and its even more painful than before, any chaos emerald he uses barely does anything either

sonics the first to notice he realizes shadow starts wearing baggy shirts in the summer he tries asking about it and gets brushed off and when shadow turns away he grabs his wrist- and freezes. theres no inhibitor ring a week or so later shadow explains

theyre in the middle of battle and shadow looks terrible, even though before hes been fine at this same point in previous battles sonics the only one who sees him take off the second inhibitor ring and shove it in his quills he doesnt tell shadow to put it back on after

sonic and shadow are watching a shitty show they started watching together and after a big plot twist sonic turns to shadow to gossip and theorize hes dead asleep softly snoring shadow has never fallen asleep somewhere aside from his desk or bed hes never fallen asleep in such a vulnerable way or place sonic calls rouge

a while after that sonic goes to shadows lab (it used to be geralds, its now shadows) shadows sitting at a desk and willingly invites sonic over he thought hed have to convince shadow to let him stay shadow says he found out why hes losing energy

his black arms dna, after dooms return and the awakening of his doom powers, is taking over the rest of him including his chaos energy and if his doom energy takes over the chaos energy, it will kill him its been killing him when the black arms dna and chaos energy fully takes over one of two things will happen

shadow becomes fully black arms. no thinking for himself. no individuality. only doing what black doom tells him to.

he dies. simple as that. the immortal shadow the hedgehog gets killed by the thing that gave him life

by the time he fully figures out whats happening he has a few months at most 2 weeks at least

shadow gives sonic a doom spear incase he turns into a black arms someones gonna have to kill him

My headcanon as to why Amy can turn invisible in Sonic 06 is that it's a form of the psychic power that it's hinted she has in the games (in the form of sensing people and where they are, like with her "Sonic sense", and possibly a form of precognition with her fortune cards).

So how does this translate to invisibility? My idea is she's not really invisible, she's using telepathy to mess with the animals inside the badniks, basically disrupting their ability to see her. She's not really invisible, but she's tricking people's brains into not registering her, causing a blindspot. The badniks see her, but she's subtly interfacing with the animals inside them to ensure they don't mess with her.

Does Amy know she has this ability in this headcanon? I'd argue no, it's probably subconscious, same way that when she senses Sonic, she can't explain how it works, just that it does. Her psychic powers are probably latent and unawakened, and she may need training to truly bring them to the forefront. Maybe from someone with experience on psionic powers. Someone like Silver, maybe.
