Count Me In!:
Little Planet, a rock band, has become quite the cultural icon. Sonic the Hedgehog is the face of the band, joined by his very best friends, Miles 'Tails' Prower, Amy Rose, and Knuckles the Echidna.
During a tour, the band's sound operator suddenly quits. Luckily, Night Babylon's sound operator, Shadow, easily picked up the slack, earning the attention of Sonic. When asked to start working for Little Planet, as they still needed to finish their tour, Shadow agreed, joining them as their sound operator, and, soon, friend.
But what happens when Knuckles asks to resign as the bassist, asking Shadow to fill in the role? Did he sense the underlying tension between Sonic and Shadow, or was he simply homesick?
Through controversy, friendship, crime, and romance, these artists withstand anything thrown at them. Be it a legally questionable corporation, harassment from other artists, exes, organized crime, family drama, or even a cult, they always come out stronger, together.

Welcome to the Sonic and The Miles's ask blog! Sonic is trapped in a room with 12 different variants of his little bro! You, my little Starlight anons, are here to help guide these trapped Mobians out of here. Chaos ensues as you and your fellow Starlights try and use your anon magic to help them overcome problems and get them out of that checkered room!
Knuckles seems to long for adventure, but is pretty much confined to just exploring Angel Island.
I feel like he’s got a traveller’s spirit, like Sonic does. But Sonic gets to pursue that calling, while Knuckles can’t because he is tied down to his duties as the sole guardian of the Master Emerald.
Though, I imagine that whenever Sonic visits Knuckles, he brings a few souvenirs along with him from his travels as a gift.
A small corked vial of volcanic sand from Iceland, a Guatemalan worry doll, an amber fossil, a Tibetan singing bowl, a river tumbled agate, foreign coins and stamps, pressed plants in a journal…
Then he and Knuckles will just talk about them, geeking about the diversity of nature and culture. Talking for hours about anthropology, geography, botany, geology…
Sonic helps Knuckles explore the world that way, without ever forcing him away from his duties.
I am a believer of Sonic being kind of shy or touch averse when it comes to physical affection, so I think that even if he was in a relationship with Amy, that fact wouldn’t really change (though maybe he’d be a bit more open to her hugs and kisses so long as they’re not overwhelming or in public)
But when he does choose to show physical affection, it’s probably pretty subtle. The way he often carries Amy like a princess whenever they need to get somewhere fast inspired me to head canon that this is one of the ways he feels comfortable initiating touch- by finding some practical excuse for it hehe
Also, he’s definitely not a fan of PDA, but his arm will subconsciously find its way around Amy. Either by obnoxiously leaning on her or resting a hand on her shoulder
I just like the idea of him keeping a gentle hand on her back or a casual arm draped over her shoulders when he’s relaxed and around their friends 💖💖💖
I think Sonic would lowkey feel a bit proud of Amy when he argues with her and she starts telling him off.
Regardless of whatever they were disagreeing about, he admires it when Amy speaks her mind and stands up for what she thinks is right, even if that means pushing back against him. He saw her build her strength from the ground up, and he feels his heart flutter whenever she asserts herself

Funny thing is that I personally don’t think he’d really use emojis, except for a select few like “👍”.
He texts like a dad lowkey lol, only because he’s chronically offline and often in places with no cell service or free Wi-Fi so he prefers to keep it brief.
Once again thinking about what Sonic characters smell like (that’s a sentence you probably didn’t think you would read today…)
So, what would Scourge smell like?
…Axe body spray. He’s definitely the type to overdo it on the cheap cologne and think that girls dig it.
But if your nose can somehow get past the chemically assaulting smell of Ed Hardy Villain cologne, the old leather from his jacket is the base of his scent profile. And it’s probably accompanied by notes of road dust, burnt rubber, public gym soaps, a hint of musk, aand… fast food grease. He would kind of smell like a city alleyway, not gonna lie!
...So have you guys ever wondered what Sonic and Shadow smell like? Well, I have, for some reason! In odd detail...
Sonic:
He doesn't seem like the type to use cologne or fancy-smelling shampoos, he prefers natural scents to synthetic ones. Since he usually sleeps outside, I imagine he'd smell like freshly cut grass, pine trees, and damp earth, with a hint of sweat. The soaps he usually uses come free from hotels or motels and public gym washrooms, so they smell clean and plain. If he has the money for something nicer, he'd probably opt for fresh smells like citrus-scented body wash.
Shadow:
Contrasting with Sonic, I think Shadow would enjoy fragrant shampoos and soaps. He feels more like a perfume guy than a cologne guy. He wouldn't overdo it though, just a spritz or two. He doesn't fancy overwhelming scents that burn your nose. He'd enjoy lavender-scented washes, of course, and other floral scents. I think he'd also have warm and rich notes in his scent profile, like dark roast coffee, burning incense, or black pepper. But if he just came back from a mission, he'd carry the scent of static electricity and gunpowder.
