I constantly come back to this little Au I made for RedSon Appreciation Week. I have so many doodles and mini comics, maybe I’ll finish them one day xd

So here’s some totally random stuff from this Au

Also, I called it “Sth’s Wrong Au” bc both Green and Mei feel like they were born in wrong places. There’s a little bit of angst in some points of this story, but it’s mostly about them working together (after a long story of fighting, competing, teasing and almost killing each other) to make their two different sides of conflict… one side xd basicly, to reunite Macaque and Sun Wukong

I was planning on drawing Red Son, well... Green Son, and Mei from Sth’s Wrong Au for a long time, and I'm happy I finally found time to actually do it. It's also nice to try something new :3

Red Son Appreciation Week 2021

Day 6: Reverse Au

Instead of choosing one of existed Aus, I made up my own :D

I call it Sth’s Wrong Au xd Here is more about it:

The main concept of this Au is that Mei was born in Demon Bull Family and Red Son was born in Dragon Family. They have their original personalities from the start, however they change a lot because of living in totally different enviroments. Almost everything else is basically the same with a canon cartoon. Let’s talk about them a bit xd

Green Son

he’s so proud of his family heritage and will do anything to make his parents proud of him

he’s arrogant, confident, brave, he thinks he’s very handsome and much more powerful than he actually is. He tries to lift up the Monkey King’s Staff way too often

very sarcastic, easily starts fights, especially with Pigsy

he and Mk are best of friend, they’ve known each other for years. they both love listening to Tang’s stories about Mighty Monkey King

always eats spicy, spiciest, SPICIER!

tells bad jokes and makes everyone nick names (except for Pigsy)

he’s very competitive, never leaves a chance for fight

Mei

she’s fierce, goal-focused, never fail in mision, never lose in fight

she has ADHD and she had to deal with it on her own, learning her fire powers (what was extremely hard

she’s talkative, but she has only Macaque to talk

she hates her parents, especially mum who were focused on resqueing her husband much more than raising her daughter

Macaque found her when she was 10. He saw the potential in her, and knowing that Sun Wukong is looking for a succesor, he starts training her to be Mk’s opponent in the future

she got attached to him so fast, spending actually much more time with “her Master” than with her mother

When she was 14, she made a magic tiara for Macaque, making him fireproof. It was a moment when he realized how much he actually cared for her, because he couldn’t take the tiara, fearing that he would easily  hurt her if her fire can’t threaten him

Since then they’ve grown together. In the moment when the plot in the show starts, Mei can do anything for her Master and Macaque would kill anyone who hurts Mei

Hi, i just wanted to say i love your "Sth's Wrong" AU!! i never gave it much thought before but Red Son and Mei have a lot of things in common and it makes sense to see them switch places. also i rlly like how you make them interact w Macaque and Sun Wukong and MK! is it ok if i draw you fanart about it? thank you for the attention, i love your art and writing!
