Heroes of new. [Spider-Man/Valdis ]

Regardless of her previous ownership that was the US military government, Fleurette considered herself to be her own person; she was accepted by society for her psychic prowess, nor were others intimidated. That was a start to an ordinary existence, unlike the first twenty-six years of her life in the laboratories.

Setting the child down, a vibrant green gaze wandered to the collapsing building, squinting at the flames that continued to roar forth with a billowing smoke. The last child in a building; oh, how very cliche. A part of her loathed it, but it had to be done.

She glanced down at the little girl that clung to her form, no matter how uncomfortable it may have been to embrace armour; it was the suit she'd kept from the laboratories, after all. The suit of Valdis; that was who she was, after all. Not just a mere laboratory experiment- a soldier, a weapon of war turned heroine. Or so she hoped, anyway.

"You should go find your parents, darling." Fleurette mused, smiling in response to the 'Thank you, Valdis!' she heard squeak from the young girl, eyes narrowing to the rest of the crowd. Huh. Attention drawn to her once again.
