Sorry I didn't reply to these earlier. 

We haven't really been given any cards since we're not family. One of our friends is writing a poem, and she's asked Rich to read it but, else-wise, thanks: That is some good food for thought. I was nominated to do playlists so that's what I'm doing, and Rich was asked to write the service booklet but he doesn't have time so I think I'm going to be doing that as well. We're also contributing a Moderat song to the funeral music I think, but we're waiting to hear back from his sister about that. Previously, I had no inclination to write a song. Something about the idea felt really trite and contrived. But lately I've been thinking about writing one - just for me (and maybe Rich and our close friends). I don't think I'd like to sing anything at the funeral in front of so many people - it just seems sort of spurious/mawkish for some reason.

Thank you! Someone recently said my voice was "in the nicest possible way... very unique" and that didn't really sound like a compliment. I appreciate the endorsement!

At the moment Chronixx ‘Who Knows’ and Stromae ‘Formidable’ (duno if either would be your cup of tea but it’s fun to hear new stuff even if you decide you don’t like it). Xx

I very enjoy the chorus of that second one, but the first one is not my bag I'm afraid. I always like to know what people are listening to though, even if it's not my thing, so thanks chum.xo
