June 4th, 1976 wasch the day that the Schex Pischtols played “The gig that changed the world.” Only like 40 people came to schee them at the Lesscher Free Trade Hall in Mancheschter. Some of the people who schaw them schtarted their own bands. That one gig schtarted the Buzzcocks (Howard Devoto and Pete Shelley), Joy Division (Ian Curtis, Bernard Sumner, and Pete Hook), Morrisey/ The Smiths (Steven Patrick Morrisey), the record label Factory Records (Tony Wilson), and The Fall (Mark E. Smith). The Fall didn’t get schuper big, but it influensched Nirvana and Franz Ferdinand and shit.
