Chelmsford duo Stiks are at the moment finalizing their release Birthplace of Radio Mixtape slated for a 2018 release. The dudes were kind enough to share some of the tracks that made their year!

So me (Sam) and Curt put this list together but we didn't put it in any particular order just so we didn’t argue over them because not gunna lie theres about 100 songs that could go on this list, this years been crazy for music and there’s still shit coming out in the next few weeks or so, but here we go 2017 best songs n that -

1) Biking - Frank Ocean, Tyler The Creator, Jay Z   Beautiful song, just due to how well produced and written it is, also its literally a song about biking that could bring a tear to your eye.

2) XO Tour Life - Lil Uzi Vert You ever heard a song played on repeat for an entire day? try wireless 2017 and you'll see why this song has to be here, I'm actually tired of this song rn.

3) HEAT - Brockhampton The opening song to A trio of albums that at this point have changed how me and curt make music, i don’t even need to explain why this is on here.

4) 4am - 2 Chainz ft Travis Scott  '4am i'm just getting started, for my birthday i threw me a surprise party' nuf said.

5) Bam - Jay Z This song sampled Sister Nancy's 'Bam Bam' in the same way me and Curt did on our tune 'Big City' so anyone know a decent lawyer hit us up, but jee'z I cant complain even if he did copy us, b a n g e r.

6) Boredom - Tyler The Creator Just like brockhampon and kendrick we could of just put the whole album on here but we had to choose one so here it is. Go listen, shtis lit.

7) Yah Mean - Playboi Carti  What? Oh, What? yah, Wat? Gotta respect the new artists this year and maaaaan Playboi Carti finessed this song.

8) NEVER - J.I.D Looking at 2018 JID is about to blow up, Imagine Anderson Paak had a kid with Kendrick, thats J.I.D.

9) T - Shirt - Migos   I dont know if I even need to explain this one,, One of the best albums to open up the year and they carried on ruling 2017 with singles, features and collab albums. Workin haaard.

10) Humble - Obviously, like Obviously.
