flailing helplessly trying to regain balance

thinking ah it's happening

pushed or slipped again

making it a way of life years and years unbalanced knocked down unable to stop unable to stand

here it goes here it comes hurtling stumbling

not a clean freefall into a wide abyss deep deep

more like hopelessly trapped between narrow walls struggling unable to stop trying unable to start succeeding

nothing to grab onto pull against no railing no helping hand

alone in the dark ouch what was that anyway

any bit of luck comes tagged with failure and the price comes due

presumably there is something at the end

but nobody really knows what
