i think there's a part of people who don't understand how lestat's manic and back-forth kind of narration works, and it's valid to say that they don't get it, and that's it. but.

but there's also a lot of people with VERY VERY valid criticism about how the show is being written, which has nothing to do with Lestat being manic, and more with the fact that the so called "tone shift" is not doing the gothic characters ...any service.

I don't like the origins of some of the characters or even the outright storyline for boruto , BUT I do find alot of the new generation endearing or interesting enough as individual characters that they've earned a spot in the blorbo space in my head-
