Shadow isn't blind. She isn't stupid. And she certainly isn't going to let a rumor just sit by, unconfirmed.
So that is why she's here, wearing that one leather jacket she'd dressed herself in, storming into his apartment. Tails is settled in his own room, locking himself up and studying, and it's a wonder that he didn't notice Sonic sneak out. He's self sufficient, she supposes. He's been alone at home several times before.
And so she moves lithely over to Sonic's room, to his sleeping form, and she glowers down at him. He's not usually asleep at this hour. Shadow has intuition, and it's telling her that he's gone off and done something idiotic. And if it's what she thinks it is, she's going to kill him.
Really.
She moves her muzzle close to his ear, and mutters crossly into it, "Wake up, you dumbass."
AH! Another tails! How're you doin', kiddo?
"I'm doing well! How about yourself, other Sonic?"
"Not getting into any trouble lately that 'I' have had to bust you out of, I hope? Hehehehe!"
