My friend Kate Nevin gave me this card on my 40th birthday, over 26 years ago. My daughter will be 40 this year. Kate and I both enjoyed being Aquarians. She died from lung cancer and a stroke just as I started studying acupuncture, twenty years ago. Time is so elastic. A fun house mirror. She is so alive in my heart/mind. I remember well the day she gave this to me. We were in the little second (or third?) floor apartment on Main Street where she lived with baby Hannah. She was so so so happy to be a mom.
