lol yes, i would be pretty pissed off if giles reacted that way after i spent a year of battling with depression, but then i guess what buffy needed was a reason to laugh and giles gave her some perspective?? (although her life is not all that laughable, from any perspective?!) i don't know what my point was.

No, that makes sense, I guess. And I can see Buffy, queen of forgiveness whether or not it's deserved, easily letting it slide and seeing his side...idk. I just feel like it's really obnoxious of Giles to be laughing at Buffy-in-crisis. :/
