If you are looking for a guy to wine and dine you, Bahorel is not the man for the job. He hasn’t called going out and doing things with another person a “date” since he was fourteen. It just leaves a bad taste in his mouth, like it’s too sterile and implies planning and that ain’t how he rolls.

Bahorel is much, /much/ better at showing affection by doing things for the people he cares about. Goes out of his way to take them places or to do things he remembers them mentioning /months/ ago, just for the fuck of it, on a whim because he genuinely loves /doing/ things for people and seeing them happy because of it, /especially/ when they’re not necessarily expecting any gestures like that at all. Or he’ll buy little mundane things for them like their preferred cigarettes, or their favorite takeout in the fridge, new shampoo when he notices the one they like is running low, leave them for the other person to find, won’t ever give it directly to them because he doesn’t need or even want the recognition for the deed, just wants them to have it. He’ll get up early and make the coffee the way the other person likes. Pick them up after work without being asked. Wander with them in the middle of a summer night, for shits and giggles, run through the sprinklers in the park for an excuse to hug them wet and get to warm them up again when they get home.
